The Diploma of Business is delivered entirely online, allowing you to study at your own pace. Complete the course in as little as 12 months or take up to two years, based on your availability. Each unit combines theoretical foundations with practical assessments, and if you don’t have access to a workplace, our Bounce Fitness simulated business environment offers all the tools and documents you need.
Entry Requirements
While no formal prerequisites exist for this course, ABI has established specific entry requirements to ensure that all students have the foundation to succeed. To enrol in the Diploma of Business at ABI, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Have completed Year 10, Trade Certificate, or equivalent, or possess 1-2 years of relevant vocational experience in a supervisory or support role.
These prerequisites help ensure students confidently engage with the diploma’s coursework and practical assessments, fostering a rich and supportive learning environment for all.
Expected Time Commitment
This online course is designed with flexibility in mind. While you can progress at your own pace, ABI recommends dedicating 15-20 hours per week to your studies. This commitment will help you complete the course in 12 months, though you have up to two years if you need additional time. Our simulated business environment provides all necessary tools and resources for practical assessments, enabling hands-on experience in a fully supported setting.
Proof of Identification
Before you can begin your course, all students must provide certified copies of identification documents. These must include valid photo identification, such as a passport, driver’s licence, or national identity card. Certification confirms the documents are true copies of the originals and must be completed by an authorised person.
If you are an offshore student, you are required to complete this step through an authorised verification agency. For students located in Hong Kong, Guangdong or Macau, this process is managed exclusively by Individual House, our approved partner. They will assist you in gathering and submitting the correct documents to ensure your enrolment can proceed smoothly.
